„Integrate the new All Plastic Chair from Jasper Morrison into your everyday life“, this was the task for invited architects in the region. In the team of Koschany + Zimmer Architekten KZA, this prescription aroused one specific association: colour. „Because our everyday life is colourful and versatile,“ explains Dorothee Hauptmann, who developed the competition design together with a six-man team.
At the shooting in the vicinity of a bridge, the pale yellow All Plastic Chair was immersed in a cloud of Holi colors – and presented by the architects.
Second competition contest for Vitra
With their contribution, the KZA employees have already participated for the second time in a competition of Essen’s Vitra store. In 2015, they took the first place with their presentation „Koschany + Zimmer Architekten wearing Physix“. A jury of creative industries, photography and architecture evaluates the submissions with regard to creativity and product presentation.
