Christmas tree balls and tinsel from the box in the basement? Oh no, not again! The recipe against boring Christmas tree ornaments is simple: just get creative yourself!

The event „Crafting gingerbread houses“ created a tradition in our office that we wanted to continue: a pre-Christmas architectural handicraft afternoon in the KZA kitchen, open to children and adults, with biscuits, punch and Christmas music.

The concept and framework should remain – yet we needed a new idea for handicraft. Instead of gingerbread, therefore, Christmas tree decorations were in the focus.

Specifically, it looked like this: Pine cones got a coating of color and glitter. Note sheets and figure ground diagrams turned into noble paper stars. And the monochrome Christmas tree balls we’d ordered as blanks turned into cool design objects. Each of them was perfect to decorate the Christmas tree at home – or to give a treat to the loved ones.

Merry Christmas!
